04/24/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/24/17 12:08 Basic Info: Don Gato A1109871 is a neutered male gray & white DSH who was taken in from the street after the previous owner left him outside 5months ago. Don Gato is being surrendered due to the landlord not wanting him in the home. Don Gato hasn’t been seen by a vet as of 5mnths ago and currently has some ocular discharge. Socialization: Don Gato is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He hasn’t been around other animals in the home (but is an indoor/outdoor cat however the owner doesn’t know how he is with animals outside). Don Gato was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adults and children ages 4, 7 & 10yrs old. Don Gato hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Don Gato isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed or being put into a carrier. He hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting, had his nails trimmed or been bathed. It wasn’t noticed if Don Gato scratched on items in the home. For a New Family to Know: Don Gato is described as friendly, affectionate, playful (at times) & talkative with medium-high activity level. When the owner is home Don Gato follows them around sometimes. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat who sleeps around the home or outside in the yard. He plays with little items he finds, eats dry & wet Purina cat chow food 2x a day and “goes” in one spot of the yard in the dirt/grass (Don Gato hasn’t had any indoor accidents). Intake Behavior: Don Gato allowed all handling. He had a soft body, eyes and allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have his pictures taken, however due to him attempting to run/jump off the backdrop his picture isn’t great but attached is a second kennel picture. Don Gato didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held at all and was placed into a kennel with ease. Don Gato also speaks when spoken too and has quite a bit to say once you get him talking.
