*** GONE 09/01/16 *** PINKIE & DIANA (who is actually male) ARE TWO FEARFUL YOUNG CATS….Only 4 months old, these two might be siblings though we don’t know that for sure. What we do know for sure is that they need our help!! PINKIE is New Hope rated and must be pulled by rescue. DIANA is publicly adoptable but could also be fostered through a rescue….if you were thinking of fostering the two of them, which we hope you are…..
There cats are just scared and need some time….something which the ACC is unwilling to give. BUT YOU CAN……Contact a NEW HOPE rescue and apply to FOSTER….if you need help finding a NEW HOPE rescue, email us at [email protected]

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Diana looks tense, crouched position with head down when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Diana remains in place, alert with eyes wide open and ears down to his side. Reaction to touch: Diana accepts the stroke, but flinches and stiffens up during the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Diana tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
