I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/02/2016 from NY 10467, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Reaction to door opening: Desmond stands up and engages the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Desmond head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Desmond interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
