N History : Owner died Subjective: overweight, moderate dander Observed Behavior – Enjoys being pet, especially scratched on hindend Evidence of Cruelty seen – N Evidence of Trauma seen – N Objective P = 120 R = 20 BCS 8/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: pink mm w/ CRT <2s, mild tartar over premolars PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: neutered male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, greasy haircoat with moderate dander CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Overweight, but clinically healthy Plan: No surgery needed, monitor diet to encourage weight loss (ideal = 13 #) Prognosis: Good SURGERY: N/A- neutered male
