08/24/17 18:53 Delilah is a 6 month old white and grey tabby unaltered female cat. She was bred at home and surrendered to the center due to too many pets at home. She has no injuries or health problems that the owner is aware of. Owner states that Delilah is shy at first around strangers and prefers to be with her siblings and mom. She has not been around children or dogs so her behavior around them is unknown. He has not bitten a person or another animal. Owner did state that Delilah will scratch up walls and furniture due to not having enough scratching posts or pads. Delilah was quiet during the car ride and was allowed to be loose. Owner did not state any litter box issues. The owner has not given Delilah a bath, brushed her, or trimmed her nails. Owner states Delilah likes to be held. Delilah has a very high activity level and loves to play with her siblings. Delilah was given both wet and dry food and kept indoors only. She was provided with an uncovered litter box with clumping clay. Delilah did have a vertical scratching post that she used and also scratched furniture and walls.

EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage recently cleaned Reaction to assessor: Delilah comes forward and reaches out with paws towards the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Delilah vocalizes and rubs her cheeks up against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Delilah is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Delilah rolls over on her side and gently head butts the assessor’s hand. She purrs when pet, is very affectionate and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Delilah is calm, relaxed and has soft body when held.
