Subjective:
Observed Behavior – QAR. ~5% dehydration. Allows all handling, purring throughout exam. Eating well
Evidence of Cruelty seen – No
Evidence of Trauma seen – Yes
Objective
P = WNL R = WNL BCS 3/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: Teeth clean, pale pink mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic — purring throughout auscultation
ABD: Non painful, large amount of feces in abdomen, bladder soft, moderate size
U/G: Female
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, significant swelling of LH hind, painful on caudal spine palpation, bruising along medial RH limb
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities, no anal tone
Radiographs: multiple right sided pelvic fracture, possible fracture of left femoral head, large amount of feces and gas in descending colon
Assessment: Pelvic fracture, possible left femoral fracture, underage
Plan: Rec simbadol 0.09ml SQ for pain control. Continue to monitor while at BACC
Monitor ability to eliminate (defecated few normal fecal balls uncontrolled)
Prognosis: Fair
SURGERY: Temporary waiver due to underage and injuries
07/30/17:
Dry feces seen in litter box and on tail, no urine seen
