02/11/16 15:29 BASIC INFORMATION Cutie is a 6 year old Spayed brown tabby DSH. She was adopted from ACC by owner and is being surrender due to client son being allergic. There are no known health or injury problems. SOCIALIZATION Around strangers Cutie is shy for days and doesn’t play with adults. She lived with a child aged 4 and up, she was usually tolerant. She lived with another cat named Chips (A0973618) and around him she is relaxed, and gentle. Has no experience being around dogs. There is no known history of him biting another person or animal. BEHAVIOR There aren’t any often behavior issues that occur with Cutie. In car rides she tends to cry. Has no known history of any litter box accidents. Bath time is a struggle but you can bath him. Isn’t bothered when her nails are trimmed.But it is a struggle when being held/restrained. Isn’t bothered when her coat is being brushed and isnt bothered when disturbed while sleeping. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Cutie is described as shy and talkative mostly kept indoors who will do best in a home with no children. Activity level is low and enjoys sleeping. Cutie doesnt play with toys. She sleeps in his bed, eat dry Meow Mix and her favorite treat is Friskies Party Mix. She is litter box trained in a hooded box with clumping litter. Usually scratches on furniture, wasn’t provided scratching post. During intake Cutie allowed all handling from counselor to be scanned (positive), collared and photographed.

Cutie’s previous owner reports she is shy around strangers for some time. She doesn’t play with people but she has lived with a child ages 4 and up and she is usually tolerant around them. She also lived with a male cat and she is relaxed and gentle with him. She was described as shy and talkative. She was kept indoors and the owner believes she will do best in a home with no children. She has a low activity level and enjoys sleeping. Reaction to Assessor: Cutie was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cutie sniffs around and meows. Reaction to cage door opening: Cutie remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Cutie meows, head-butts, and leans into petting. She meows randomly (with a hint of whining) throughout the interaction, but she appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Cutie remains calm and allows handling. Placement Determination: Average Cutie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
