*** SAFE 07/03/16 *** Easy on the eyes and well deserving of his gushing volunteer comments, 3-year-old CUPCAKE belongs in someone’s arms. Check this out! “A volunteer writes: Cupcake is a chocolate dream! He is a calm, quiet cat, and although his behavior evaluation calls for an experienced cat guardian, I found him easy to please with a plate of wet food. “Yum, yum,” Cupcake seemed to say, “I’ll happily come and eat this!” And as he delightfully lapped up his Friskies, I gently stroked his head. I think he could get used to that, especially when accompanied by some yummy treat. I’d love to try brushing him and getting him to purr.” CUPCAKE and his housemate FLUFFY were dropped at the ACC by their former owners, who were apparently on their way to a new home. Most people will agree that pets are what make a house, a home, and wouldn’t feel right living somewhere without a cherished, furry friend. It’s a pity that neutered CUPCAKE didn’t belong to someone who valued him as he deserves to be valued, but who instead saw both cats as disposable, self-animated knick knacks that could be tossed aside without consequence. The consequence of their decision is going to be ALL TOO REAL tomorrow when the euth technician gets to work on poor CUPCAKE. Advocate ferociously for CUPCAKE, tonight!
