Lying on top of kuranda bed, ears flat. Makes eye contact and shifts away as I reach forward. Tolerates petting along head and back while lowing body and flattening ears further. Needs more time to adjust. Sprayed feliway.
10/16/17
Lying on top of kuranda bed, body hunched over and ears flat. Makes eye contact. He hisses as I reach towards him and tires to wiggle and squirm away as I warp him in a blanket. Tolerates petting held ion a burrito with a rapid heard-beat and flat ears. Whites of eyes are visible. Retreats to litterbox when placed back in the kennel. Not interested in treats at the moment. Nervous little guy – needs more time to adjust. Sprayed feliway.

Oral Exam: kitten dentition, no oral lesions noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated, distended
U/G: MI
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment:
Apparently healthy
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Prognosis: Excellent
SURGERY: ok to schedule for surgery
