***SAFE 03/09/17*** A volunteer writes: You know those cats who just need a little time to get their bearings? That’s our boy Crescent, a handsome, clean, quiet, and neat young guy who can be social when he feels like it, but sometimes hangs back in his cat loft away from people. When I met him the other night he was calm. Though at first didn’t seem to want to make friends, after a while he became more lively, and he was especially curious about the other felines in the room. He was found in a courtyard where the children would come out to pet him and give him food. So I know that this friendly guy has a bright and happy future ahead of him–if he can find a new pet parent who will let him come out his shell on his own terms. Could you be the person who helps Crescent feel loved and safe again?
