Always the consummate businessman Costello greeted me with a handshake and didn’t waste any time getting to the ear scratches. Using his stellar negotiating skills (cute face and soft, friendly meows) he was able maximize his cuddle returns. He just wouldn’t take no for an answer.

A volunteer writes: What can I say? This big boy is absolutely wonderful! Costello is a big, handsome boy, and although he doesn’t hang out at the front of his kennel like his brother Abbott (#A1062499), he is very affectionate and friendly. So if you’re looking for the purr-fect companion to warm your cold winter nights, take a look at this easy-going guy. And if you’re feeling adventurous, consider adding his brother to the family as well. Yes, that’s right, Abbott and Costello. Someone had a sense of humor, and they sure knew how to take care of their feline friends
