ENRICHMENT NOTES:
01/31/17
Nervous and unsure, lying in litter box, unmoving, would like to be invisible. When spoken to softly he slow blinks and eases a little. A sweet, social house cat that allowed petting all over. He didn’t react much, will need some time to adjust to this environment; has potential to warm up. Adding to socialization list. Sprayed a little Feliway and left some snacks.
02/01/17
Quiet, lying in litter box. Allows petting all over, stays quiet, doesn’t move. Being near the door with all the loud dog barking seems to be stressful for him. Left some treats and a little catnip.
02/07/17
Quiet, as usual, this morning, lying on left half of double kennel, near front. Appears to have eaten a little wet food overnight. Allows petting all over, leans chin in for more. Sweet, shy, mellow fellow, allows all handling. Really cute guy, seems smaller than his listed 9.5lbs, almost petite.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:

02/02/17
Quiet, low energy, allows all handling, seems somewhat uncomforable with petting still, a bit tense, seems like he’s always waiting/looking for someone, will need a little time to build confidence. Gave him a puzzle feeder to see if that interests him. Seems like he’d do well in a quiet home.
02/05/17
Behavior has remained consistent, quiet, very low activity, allows handling but not entirely comfortable with it, body feels tense. Doesn’t seem like feeling well, noted that he vomited yesterday (2/4).
02/06/17
In box, lying quietly, head is up, alert, allows petting all over, doesn’t react a lot to the touching. Vomited again, doesn’t seem to have eaten a lot. Noted on symptoms log, will follow up after morning vet rounds.

Sweet, shy, quiet, mellow, appreciates head rubs, uses box appropriately and seems to be eating. Hasn’t shown a lot of interest in toys, but gave her a new Pillows for Paws plush that he has been sniffing. Has sparkling eyes and a soft coat. Undemanding; may be a little more independent than other cats. Loud barking from across the hall seems to be a bit stressful for him.
