06/08/17 16:17 Finder had both cats Cooper A1114663 and Mustang A1114664 for two weeks. Finder stated they hissed at the finders cat but did not interact with the cat or dog in the home. The finder tried giving them a bath but they both hissed and tried to flee. counselor was able to collar scan, and transfer into carrier. No signs of aggression for both of them

KNOWN HISTORY: Cooper was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on his behavior in his previous home. His finder kept him in their home for two weeks and report he hissed at their resident cat. He did not tolerate being bathed and will hiss and try to flee. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Timid, wary, growls, but allows all handling EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Cooper was resting upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cooper wakes and looks at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Cooper remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Cooper leans in for petting, begins to purr, and rolls over. He approaches the front and plops next to the assessor, and continues to solicit attention. Reaction to being picked up: Cooper remains calm and allows handling. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Cooper interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
