Arrived from same home as Tigger, -26, but they’ve been housed separately here, which needs to be remedied and the two reunited; per the former owner: “Cookie has lived with his housemate [Tigger] for her whole life [i.e. 10yrs] and is relaxed and affectionate toward him.” Will find a triple kennel for these two.
Cookie is an absolute sweetheart, comes to the front of the kennel for attention, allows all handling, loves attention. Will hopefully help Tigger when they’re reunited; will take care of that this morning.
Owner Profile::
Basic Information:
Cookie is a domestic short hair cat that is being surrendered with her housemate Tigger due to personal issues of her previous owner.
Socialization:
Around strangers Cookie is friendly, outgoing and plays gently with adults and children. Cookie has been around children ages 7 and up and around them is relaxed and affectionate. Cookie has lived with her housemate Tigger for her whole life and is relaxed and affectionate toward him Cookie has also lived with two American Pit Bull Terriers that she usually ignored and was respectful toward.
Behavior:
Cookie has never bitten another person or animal and has no behavior issues. Cookie is not bothered by riding in a car. Cookie enjoys being given a bath, having her nails trimmed, being brushed, being picked up/held and is not bothered when disturbed while she is sleeping/resting. Cookie has never been placed in a carrier so it is unknown how she will react to one.
For a new family to Know:
Cookie is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, and quiet with a low activity level. When at home Cookie will follow around her owner and likes to play with balls, string and stuffed toys. Cookie was kept indoors only and was fed dry food.
