I am a female brown and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 5 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/02/2017 from NY 11420, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

BCS 2/9 EENT: Mild dental tartar/gingivitis, gingival recesssion, pale mm, eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl HL: Normal thoracic auscultation, no sneezing ABD: Normal abdominal palpation, no masses or organomegaly appreciated, non-tender INTEG: Unkempt MS: Ambulatory x 4, muscle wasted UG: Female A: Very thin BCS, unresolved dehydration despite supportive care and good appetite P: Scheduled CBC/Chem/T4/UA. KNOWN HISTORY: Colt was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Vocalizing. Tolerated handling. Tolerated shavers EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Colt meows loudly and comes forward to greet the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Colt leans over to sniff the assessor then gently rubs his cheeks against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Colt is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Colt brushes up against the assessor, then leans in allowing rubs on her cheek and petting all over her body. Her body perks up when touched, she head butts the assessor and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Colt is calm, relaxed and allows all handling. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Easy going, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Colt interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
