They are cats that came from a home and will blossom again once they get over the shock of being wrenched away and separated from all they have known. Reaction to assessor: Collin was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Collin continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Collin remains motionless Reaction to touch: Collin hisses but remains motionless Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Collin was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a very limited way once he finished hissing. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
