VC: Monitor condition, check ability to medicate
S/O: QAR. Able to handle with secure towel wrap, will attempt to bite when restrained. Mild chemosis/conjunctivitis and periocular dermatitis OS. Diarrhea on fur.
Administed 3.2ml SQ Convenia for otitis and dermatitis
A: FIV, cryptorchid, conjunctivitis and periocular dermatitis unilateral, chronic diarrhea
P: Unable to provide oral medication or ear medication due to behavior and causing profound stress to Cole. Will keep in medical and place cage cover to reduce stimuli and monitor appetite daily.
Not ideal candidate for RTF due to multiple health conditions and inability to treat in shelter due to behavior.
Prognosis: Fair short-term, Guarded long-term

Scan : negative
Sex: Male, cryptorchid.
Approx 5-7yr
S/O: BAR, mild chemosis and periocular dermatitis OS. Dental disease 2/4. Marked dark d/c AU.
Abdominal palpation reveals slight gastric distension, soft non-painful, fluid and gas filled intestines. Cardiothoacic auscultation WNL. Dried fecal material on fur around anus. Mild muscle wasting over spine and hind limbs.
Sedated w. 0.1ml Telazol IM, attempted to bite from towel wrap.
Ear mites not observed on slide.
Cleaned ears.
FIV SNAP positive. Applied erythromycin OU. Administered 100ml SQ LRS.
A: FIV, mild dental disease, diarrhea. otitis externa, chemosis, periocular dermatitis, muscle wasting.
P: Likely will be unable to medicate due to behavior. Will keep in medical and re-asses behavior tomorrow .
Prognosis: Fair to guarded.
