Hx: 2 kittens came in together as strays; noted to be eating well in carrier S/O approx 11-13 weeks QAR, hissing in carrier but allows handling mm pk, sl tacky; CRT <2 sec; all deciduous dentitia present OD-poss globe rupture and/or partial proptosis; severe conjunctivitis; mild to mod buphthalmia; cornea appears dull with mucoid discharge; severe hyphema, corneal edema OS-severe conjunctivitis with ulceration of upper eyelid AU-mild waxy debris; non pruritic heart/lungs WNL soft, nonpainful abdomen overall clean coat male intact A conjunctivitis with poss proptosis (OD) underweight P terramycin OU BID x 14 days depending on response to treatment, then enucleation OD may be necessary but carries excellent prognosis prognosis: good temp s/n waiver due to conjunctivitis
