04/09/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/09/17 18:12 Cloudy is friendly and outgoing towards strangers and typically approaches them for a good sniff. He’s lived with his owner’s 17 year old daughter since they got him 6 years ago and they are relaxed and affectionate with each other. He plays gently with both adults and children and has never spent time around cats. Cloudy lives with a little Chihuahua who he is relaxed and playful with. He has never bitten another animal or human. Cloudy isn’t bothered when given baths but struggles when having his nails clipped and will pull his paws away. He tolerates brushing and being held. He struggles a little going into the carrier but isn’t bothered once he’s inside. He’s never been awoken from his slumber so it’s unknown how he would react. Cloudy is playful, mellow, independent, and quiet. He has a low activity level but when he’s ready to play enjoys running around with his doggy-brother. When his owner is home, he usually follows him around or hangs out on his owner’s bed. He doesn’t like most toys but will chase string. Cloudy’s been kept indoors only and sleeps on his owner’s bed. He uses his uncovered litterbox full of crystal litter. He will scratch on the arm of a chair in the house and doesn’t use his scratching post made out of carpet. He eats Blue Buffalo dry food, about 1 large bowl, once a day. He loves his temptation treats. On intake, Cloudy allowed counselor to pet his head. She then picked him up out of the box he was in and allowed her to hold him for a few minutes. She placed him down onto the counter for pictures and collaring. He had a stiff body but allowed collaring and stood pretty still for pictures. She placed him back into the carrier with no issues.
