SAFE 12/1/17 – VIDEO & NEW PHOTOS! 5 year old Cleopatra was found abandoned as a stray. She is already spayed, and very calm and friendly and was purring at intake. She has dental issues which need follow up and a minor issue with her eye. Give this royal princess a home for the holidays!

Observed Behavior – calm/friendly, allowed PE, purring
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no
Objective
T: 98.6 P/R WNl BCS 6/9
EENT: OU mild mucoid ocular discharge, mild neovascularization to corneas, no stain uptake; AU mild dark waxy d/c; no nasal discharge, no sneeze
Oral Exam: sensitive to touch, limited oral exam = severe gingivitis
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2; Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: soft, non-painful, no masses palpated
U/G: spayed, green tattoo on abdomen
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, no hair coat (normal breed condition)
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: externally normal
A: OU superficial corneal ulceration
– severe dental dz
– decr. temp
P: terramycin OU BID x 7 days and recheck
– rec’ reeval of teeth/dental – check appetite
Px: good, needs dental and cont. tx of eyes
SURGERY: spayed/green tattoo on abd.
