03/20/16 17:24 Basic Information: Cleo is a female domestic long haired, 13 year old cat. She was bought from a pet store 10 years ago but was surrendered because her previous owner is sick and cant care for her. She has no known injuries or health problems but hasnt been tho the vet. Behavior during intake: Cleo allowed me to collar her, pet her, and take her picture. She kneeded and purred while I pet her. She showed no signs of aggression.

During intake, Cleo allowed herself to be collared, pet and photographed. She kneaded and purred while interacting with the admissions counselor. She showed no signs of aggression. Reaction to assessor: Cleo does not come to the front, but looks at the assessor – is calm, relaxed and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cleo does not come to the front, but looks at the assessor – is calm, relaxed and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Cleo remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Cleo solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hands, purring, and kneading in place. Reaction to being picked up: Cleo sits calmly in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Beginner Cleo interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
