06/11/16 14:55hrs Cici has been cared for by his owner since he was a few months old. He was named Cici because his owner thought he was a girl for 5 months so the name stuck. Cici is described as sweet and friendly. He lived in a home with a three year old child and a poodle. Cici allows the child to pet him. He is tolerant of the dog sometimes playing together. He is an indoor cat only. BEHAVIOR Cici will come when called. He will follow his owner around the home. He enjoys being petted and held. He is accustomed to grooming himself but allows his owner to brush him. Cici enjoys climbing onto high items in the home. Cici will hide when there are guest in the home. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Cici uses a covered litter box in the home. He enjoys playing with the dog or with stuffed toys. He likes to chase the laser pointer as well. He would sometimes paw at his owner’s sofa when he tries to catch the laser light. He eats 9Lives wet and dry cat food. He sleeps on the sofa at night. DURING INTAKE Cici would hide in the rear of his carrier. He would approach the front of his carrier when the door was opened. He allowed touch but wouldn’t notice and try to walk out of the carrier. He allowed petting and being handled. He was collared, scanned for a microchip(negative ) and photographed.

Reaction to door opening: Cici remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Cici stands with tail up, leans into the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Cici interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
