CHYSLER – A1074157
Gone - 5-22-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 05/22/16*** Four pretty kittens, one terrible fate….meet CHRYSLER, CHASE, AMAZON and CHARMIN! These girls are four of 5 kittens who were taken to the ACC on May 18th, terrified, and who have been scheduled to die tomorrow. Their crime? Being within the ACC, which is hardly something these kitties would ever have wanted. All four of these girls are frightened at the shelter so of course, all of them have earned NEW HOPE ratings. Their dreams die with them shortly after noon tomorrow, unless foster/adopters are found for them tonight!

05/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Chysler and at the time his kennel was destroyed. He avoids all contact. Had wide eyes and tries to flee. His ears bend flat and he appeared very stressed. Reaction to assessor: Chysler was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Chysler continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Chysler retreats Reaction to touch: Chysler tries to flee and does not allows petting at all Behavior Determination: NewHope Chysler was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Chysler may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and tries to flee when attempting to touch. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
