***SAFE 5/13/17 *** Sweet CHRISTMAS!! This is the friendliest cat at MACC! A volunteer writes: Our beautiful, gentle and sociable Christmas offers so much love to the world–forget just one season of giving, he’s a pet you’ll want to celebrate all year round! Full of both comfort and joy and always thrilled when a friend drops by for some snuggles, he meows quietly for attention then purrs loudly once the petting begins, and will follow my hand from one side of his den to the other for more. Christmas may have arrived with some boo-boos, but he’s healed up wonderfully over the weeks he’s stayed with us, and now looks (and eats!) like any other handsome middle-aged dude. I love spending time with my favorite tabby when I’m volunteering, but it breaks my heart that he’s still waiting for a home sweet home and the adoring family he deserves. With a behavior evaluation as spotless as his silky coat and a heart filled with hope and love, Christmas is so ready to be your dream pet. Are you ready to make his dreams come true too?
***Christmas was brought in with superficial wounds that are consistent with bite marks of unknown origin. Therefore, Christmas requires an in-home, 6-month quarantine. Proof of current rabies vaccination for other pets in the home, periodic vet visits, and calls about his health to DOH are required.***
