KNOWN HISTORY: Cheddar was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: friendly, easily examined and treated with minimal restraint. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage recently cleaned Reaction to assessor: Cheddar was purring and kneading on her blanket near the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cheddar rolls around and reaches out with soft paws towards the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Cheddar is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Cheddar chirps then leans in allowing petting and rubs all over her body. She purrs, gives head butts and is incredibly affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Cheddar is calm, relaxed and has soft body when held. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Energetic VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Playful, Sweet, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Cheddar interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
