Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 1-2 years old based on dentition, size, overall appearance Microchip noted on Intake? Scanned negative History : Admitted 7/12/17, brought in by police, covered in paint. Came with four 2-3 week old kittens who were also covered in paint; one kitten attached to mom by paint/fur. Overnight LVT cleaned the paint off all the cats. Subjective: Purs, allows all handling. Many alopecic patches on skin and legs. Objective BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist, BAR-H EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, lactating, developed MGs MSI: Many patches of alopecia and short fur on legs, flanks, ventrum. Skin on legs is erythematous and possibly slightly edematous. Many small bits of paint stuck in fur. Jumps slightly and sometimes appears uncomfortable when skin is touched. Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted. CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment: Was stuck in paint, now mostly cleaned off. Erythematous skin, appears slightly uncomfortable – R/O new sensation of skin being touched directly vs. dermatitis from paint or paint removal process Plan: Administered 0.25 ml Onsior about 10:30am. Continue to provide supportive care as needed. Prognosis: Excellent SURGERY: Temporary waiver for surgery due to lactation and kittens. 1088
