SAFE 1/13/18 WATCH HIS VIDEO! A volunteer writes: This is a big handsome boy who is very affectionate and ready to come out and play. He notices everything that is going on, and happily looks around. He wants to be petted and has a wonderful loud purr.

**12 year old CHANCELLOR was dumped at the shelter by owner’s daughter after owner died. This kitty is docile and friendly and already neutered. He was brought in with housemate. Needs a furever home and some dental care.

OU-clouding of the lens with mild geriatric changes to iris
Oral Exam:mm pk, moist; CRT <2 sec; moderate tartar, severe staining
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: no murmurs or arrhythmias; eupnic, clear lung sounds
ABD: soft, nonpainful, slightly doughy; no palpable abnormalities
U/G: neutered male
MSI: Ambulatory x 4 with no obvious , mild flea debris and dandruff
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal:grossly normal

Assessment
1. Geriatric
2. Overweight
3. Dental disease

Prognosis:fair to good

Plan:
-rec’d CBC/chem/T4, unable to run due to machine malfunction
-rec’d dental cleaning after placement
-rec’d weight loss

SURGERY: neutered
