GONE 8/9/16 **NEEDS FOLLOW UP VET CARE ATTENTION ASAP** Large fibrous swelling on left side of face, with a wide draining tract (1 cm dia) at the dorsal aspect. There is purulent discharge visible inside the wound. There is also a superficial wound with a scab on the ventral aspect of the left side of the face. OS mild mucoid discharge. Clean OD. Clean ears and nose. Clean teeth. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Multiple abrasions along the chest. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: 1. Abscess on face – R/O bite wound vs. other cause. Concern for osteomyelitis. 2. Superficial wounds on chest Short-term prognosis: Good P: 1. Amoxiclav 1 ml PO BID x10 days 2. Buprenorphine 0.5 mg/ml 0.18 ml SQ BID x5 days 3. Sedated wound flushing and skull rads tomorrow1088
