10/25/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/25/16 14:36 Celeste A1094685 is a young female black DSH feline who was found in the finder’s yard. She was surrendered along with Cecelia A1094683, Cyra A1094684 & Claris A1094681 that the finder has been feeding and trying to socialize a little so they were placed into a carrier together; except Claris had to be trapped as she isn’t socialized as much. They stated their yard has many cats & doesn’t want there to be any new additions. During intake Celeste tried to run/hide. Celeste allowed me to scan (-), collar and take her picture even though she appears to be fearful and or nervous. She seems uncomfortable with being held and tries to get away. Celeste was placed into a carrier for transport with ease.

10/28/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Celeste looks tense, crouched position on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Celeste remains in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Celeste flinches during the touch then places head down with ears to the side and shows no interest to the stroke. Placement determination: Experience / no child Celeste tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
