09/07/16 14:18 Celest is an all black DSH cat that is possible 1 years old. The cat was found as a stray. Finder noticed the cat and is may be possible pregnant. Finder decided to bring the cat to ACC. During intake Celest allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

Celest was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She allowed all handling upon intake and during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Celest was lying down, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Celest looks at the assessor and blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Celest remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Celest was a bit hesitant and lip licks, but allows petting on her head and body and warms up slightly. Reaction to pick up: Celest is a bit tense, but remains calm when held. Placement Determination: Experience Celest tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
