Medical Summary 04/19/17 DVM exam. History – Brought in by owner, no medical concerns noted other than matting and obesity. Microchip scan negative. Age 8 yrs. Observed behavior – Calm, very relaxed, curious about people and surroundings. Allows all handling and grooming. Evidence of cruelty – No. Evidence of trauma – No. O: BARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. HR=160, RR=12. BCS=9/9. ORAL: Mild to mod. calculus and gingivitis. EENT: No oculonasal discharge, no sneezing. H/L: Lungs clear, no murmurs/arrhythmias. ABD: Soft, non-painful. Large amount of abd fat and unable to distinguish any organs. UG: Female, spayed. MS: Amb x 4, no lameness. Obese. INTEG: Full haircoat. Mild matting over mid to caudal dorsum and perineum. Mild dandruff. NEURO: No neurologic deficits. A: Obese 8 yr old spayed female cat. Mod. dental disease. P: Combed out majority of mats. Shaved out larger mats over right dorsum and perinuem. Monitor while at BACC. Good prognosis with appropriate weight management.
