05/04/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/04/17 14:29 Casper can be aggressive towards strangers if approached the wrong way. He has never spent time around children and likes to keep to himself. He lived with one other cat and he was respectful of her space. He has never spent time around dogs so it’s unknown how he would react around them. He has never bitten another animal but recently bit his owner’s daughter when she went to suddenly grab him a few days ago. Casper has never been in a car so it’s unknown how he would react. His owner never gave him a bath or trimmed his nails since he is declawed. When his owner tries to brush him, Casper tries to bite her and the brush. He hisses and will bite when picked up or held and struggles when it’s time to get into the carrier. He hisses when awoken from his slumber. Capser is mellow, independent, and assertive. He has a low activity level and when ready to play enjoys balls and string toys. He rarely seeks attention when his owner is home and is kept indoors only. He sleeps on the recliner chair in the living room and is fully litterbox trained. He only goes potty in his uncovered litterbox filled with both clumping and crystals litter. He scratches on furniture and has never had a scratching post. He eats one cup of Meow Mix, twice a day, that he shares with the other resident cat. On intake, counselor was able to pick Casper out of the box he was in and place him on the counter. He allowed collaring and picture taking but kept trying to escape from the counter.
