05/02/17 13:56 BASIC INFO Cindy A1110796 is an approximately 10 year old Snowshoe Mix. She was found in the lobby of finders building inside of a pet carrier with a dog on 4/27/2017. Finder took both into the home where they co-existed peacefully, and respectfully. Finder stated that Cindy was very quiet,it did not have house training and used a litter box. Overall, she was described as independent, quiet and affectionate. She was fed 9Lives dry and wet food. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Cindy allowed all handling, collaring and photos. She head butted counselor.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet KNOWN HISTORY: Other notes: The cat was brought into the care center as a stray with unknown history. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 5/4/17- Observed Behavior – allows handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 5/3/17- Resting in litter box, looking around, and neutral posture. Able to stand, but with a lot of difficulty, frequently places weight on wrists instead of front paws. Extremely food motivated, allowed all pets while eating treats, completely ignored me. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Carlos looks neutral, lying down on his cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Carlos engages the front, alert with soft body and eyes. Reaction to touch: Carlos allows the touch and continues to eat during the stroke. Reaction to being picked up: Carlos becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Carlos interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
