SAFE 12/6/17 Meet Beautiful Blue Point Gal Cappuccino! @BACC. Cappuccino is a 7 year old spayed cat that was surrendered due to moving. Cappuccino was given to the previous owner as a gift as a kitten. Cappuccino caught the shelter cold and needs placement ASAP.

Cappuccino”15081″ is a 7 year old ,spayed cat that was surrendered due to moving. Cappuccino was given to the previous owner as a gift as a kitten. Cappuccino has never suffered any health issues or injuries. Her last visit to the vet was 2 years ago for a round of shots.

How is this cat around strangers?
Around Stranger Cappuccino is shy and fearful. When strangers come into the home she will hide for long periods of time. The previous owner stated that it takes a couple of days for Cappuccino to approach an unknown person. When she’s comfortable enough to come out of hiding she will approach for smelling and then walk away.
How is this cat around children?
Cappuccino has never lived with children however the previous owner did have young children over at times. The children ages between 3-7 years old. When the children attempted to interact with her she would calmly walk away to where they can’t get to her. Cappuccino never displayed any concerning behavior towards the children.
How is this cat around other cats?
Cappuccino has lived in the home with another feline however she has been exposed to a friend’s cat. She was respectful but very shy towards the other cat. When the cat attempted to play with her ,she did hiss and walk away. The client believed she hissed at the other cat because he was too close to her.
How is this cat around dogs?
Cappuccino has never lived in the home with a dog however a dog has visited the home. She was relaxed towards the dog. When the dog approached her for smelling she just watched him and walked away.
Behavior Notes
Cappuccino isn’t bothered by the following having her nails trimmed, being picked up and held or being brushed. Cappuccino has been given baths. Usually, she does tolerate them however at times she will attempt to run away. The previous owner would only bath her from the neck -down . Cappuccino is fully litter box trained with no record of accidents. Cappuccino does become vocal when she’s hungry and wants attention.

Cappuccino hasn’t bitten anyone within the past 10 days. No known bite history.

Cappuccino is described as shy, independent and timid. Cappuccino stays to herself while in the home. she’ll only follow the owner around if he has her food. She was fed dry food. The previous owner used Iams, Purina and meow mix. Cappuccino is indoor only.
Behavior Notes:
Upon intake Cappuccino was alert and quiet. Cappuccino allowed to be rubbed on the head and neck by a staff member. she did appear nervous while having her picture taken. She allowed all handling. Scanned Negative.
