Candice is a stunningly beautiful unique girl with mint green eyes. She might be curled up in her condo when you visit, but take a moment to peer in because this cat is not to be missed! Candice starts talking as soon as you open her condo door, but in spite of her chattiness, she seems to lean to the shyer side. She wants to be your friend, though it may take her a moment to decide exactly how she’ll go about doing so. Head butts? Kneading in place? Just go along with it and your patience will be rewarded with her quiet, gentle purring. Lovely Candice was first brought to the Bronx and is now waiting at the Manhattan Care Center to meet you.

EENT – wnl
Grade 2+/4 dental dz (right side worse than left); there is an approx 2mm raised erythematous mass on the lower right rostral lip
Heart/lungs auscult wnl
A: Approx 2mm raised erythematous mass lower right rostral lip; r/o inflammation vs SCC, etc.
P: I am not too concerned about this mass at this time, but I do recommend it be monitored and could easily be removed under anesthesia at the same time as a dental prophy
PROGNOSIS:

ACO noted irritation on R ventral cervical area and removed collar
–about 4 cm area of alopecial with erythema and papules along collar region
r/o possible reaction to wearing collar v allergic
P: genoticin spray BID x 10D then recheck
Re-Exam (5/05/16)
neck lesion seems to be resolving: large area of hairlessness ventral neck mostly left side.
very small scabby area–dime sized.
rx convenia–no additional therapy

reported pt started scratching neck again
P: restart gentocin spray, run DTM culture. woods lamp neg (unlikely fungal)

Behavior
Reaction to assessor: Candice looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to door opening: Candice remains crouched position at the back of the cage, relaxed body posture, alert with soft eyes.
Reaction to touch: Candice slowly leans into the assessor’s hand, kneads in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body.
Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.
Placement determination: Average
Candice interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
