KNOWN HISTORY: Calvin was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder reports he allowed them to handle him. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Calvin looks at the assessor with soft eyes. Reaction when softly spoken to: Calvin chirps, comes to the front, and starts to rub against the bars. Reaction to cage door opening: Calvin stays at the front, is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Calvin leans and arches into pets, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Calvin sits calmly in the assessor’s arms and looks around. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Very friendly, allows all handling ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Somewhat Chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Calvin interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
