**SAFE 08/14/16**PRETTY LITTLE CALLIE is a gorgeous 1 year old CALICO who was rescued from a hoarding situation. She and her feline pals were all brought to the shelter. Someone was probably trying to help CALLIE and her friends, but couldn’t adequately care for them all. So now this sweet kitty is hoping she won’t get killed tomorrow at the shelter. CALLIE has such a sweet face, you can’t help but fall in love! This little girl is stressed at the shelter, but she accepts attention if you are slow and calm. She would make a wonderful pet in an experienced pet home, where she could take time to warm up to her new home. This sweet girl deserves a WONDERFUL PAMPERED KITTY LIFE! Please rescue this precious girl! You will be paid back in PURRS!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Callie looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Callie remains crouched position, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Callie retreats away from the assessor’s hand, but when touched she stiffens up in place and shows no interest to the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Callie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
