No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Calera had tense, stiff body. Calera allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured and placed in a cat kennel.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 5/3/17- Observed Behavior – shy/nervous but allows handling EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Calera looks neutral, lying down on her cage bedding when approached. Reaction to cage door opening: Calera softly meows, alert with normal shape eyes. Reaction to touch: Calera slowly leans into the assessor’s hand and enjoys petting. Reaction to being picked up: Calera becomes antsy then jumps back in to the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Calera interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
