Meet this darling three year old charming and friendly three year old fab fella who would LOVE to go home with YOU! Caesar and his feline friends, CALICO – A1077724 (safe) and GILBERT – A1077723 (still available) lost their home when their owner decided to move without them. It’s an all too common sad “tail” and we have to write a happy ending to this awesome pawesome gingerbread man’s story. Caesar is obviously used to living with other kitties, gets along great with them and is basically a typical gingerbread man–friendly, gentle and affectionate. Caesar is recovering from a kitty cold, has a good prognosis and would make a purrfect companion to just about anyone. 6/16/16 16:14 Basic Information A1077722 Caesar, A1077723 Gilbert and A1077724 Calico are all domestic short hair mixes. They are being surrendered because the owner is moving to a home where pets are not allowed. He found the cats on the street. Socialization Around strangers, Caesar, Gilbert and Calico are friendly and outgoing. They have lived mostly adults in the home; they play gently with adults they do not know. They have never been around dogs or other cats (except each other) so the owner does know how they would behave around them. Caesar, Gilbert and Calico get along very well together in the home. Behavior Caesar, Gilbert and Calico have never had any litter box problems and use the litter boxes daily. They don’t mind being bathed, have had never had their nails trimmed, enjoy brushing, do not mind being held put in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping or resting. For a new family to know The owner describes Caesar, Gilbert and Calico as friendly and affectionate. They have medium activity levels. Around the house, they follow everyone around and prefer to be in the same room as the rest of the family. Caesar, Gilbert and Calico played with rubber balls and stuffed cat toys. They sleep mostly indoors anywhere in the house. They were being fed Purina brand dry cat food 3 times a day. Caesar, Gilbert and Calico use separate open litter boxes with clumping cat litter every day and rarely have accidents. When left alone they sometimes scratches on furniture or drapes. Behavior during the intake During intake, Caesar, Gilbert and Calico where somewhat tense but allowed all handling. They all scanned (-) allowed to be collared, photographed and transferred into a kennel.

As per previous owner, Caesar is described as friendly and affectionate. He has a medium activity level. Around the house, he followed everyone around and preferred to be in the same room as the rest of the family. Caesar played with rubber balls and stuffed cat toys. He slept mostly indoors, anywhere in the house. Around strangers, Caesar is friendly and outgoing. He has lived mostly adults in the home and played gently with adults he does not know. He has never been around dogs, but got along with the other cats in the home. Reaction to assessor: Caesar continues to hide on top of his bed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Caesar does not come to the front, but looks at the assessor and remains neutral. Reaction to cage door opening: Caesar remains motionless and does not respond. Reaction to touch: Caesar solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hand, but remains alert and wary his surroundings. Behavior Determination: Experienced Caesar tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents
