BUDS – 28126
Safe - 5-20-2018 Manhattan
SAFE 5/20/18 Buds is a roughly 8 year old altered cat whom was bred at home and kept in the same home since he was first born. Unfortunately due to the owner’s health he and his 8 year old Mother Spanky 28125 were unable to be kept.
A volunteer writes: Buds and his best pal, Spanky, came to the Care Center together–two quiet, shy darlings with marshmallow-like fur and wide, warm eyes. This boy-girl pair (mother and son, perhaps?) are in separate cat condos right next to each other, and both eye me with softness and curiosity as I greet them. Spanky is a hearty, middle-age lady and Buds slightly younger and leaner. Both are adjusting nicely to life in the cat adoption room, hanging back and showing comfort with people as well as good manners. What would help them come out of their shells, I imagine, is finding out that a new forever family is coming soon-bringing them back together again into the same home. If you’re looking for a sweet pair of furbabies who can keep each other company as well as entertain and love the humans in your household, come meet Ms. Spanky and Mr. Buds today!
BUDS was an owner surrender and needs a new furever home. He is already neutered and about 5 yrs old.
