SAFE 4/2/16 A volunteer writes: Briana has two different colored eyes, two large gray spots with a gray tail, a cute pink nose and a sweet face. She will look up at you with love. She will come right to you when you open her door. Head butting you to rub her head and head butting for chin rubs, she will give you a soft meow, rolling on her side, wanting you to rub her body, closing her eyes and gently moving her tail. She is so affectionate you will fall in love with her. She may be an older lady, but she is the sweetest kitty who will add joy to your home.

Briana is a 12 year old grey and white DSH, who was in her owners care for 11 years. She was given to owner as a gift, Briana is being surrendered into our care center due to her owner moving and not being able to continue caring for her due to no pets. There are no known health issues or concerns.
With strangers she is friendly, doesn’t play with adults and although she lived with children ages 3 and 5 she was relaxed and tolerant but didn’t engage in play. She lived with a female cat Bigge (A1067713) and was very affectionate with her. There is no known history of biting another person or animal.
Rarely has litter box accidents, but when she do it occurs when the litter box isn’t cleaned. She is both pooping and peeing outside of the box; this has been going on for about 1 to 6 months. Never has she had her nails trimmed or been given a bath. She is relaxed and okay with having her coat brushed, she isn’t bothered when being picked up and held however doesn’t like it for lone period of time.
Briana is described as being independent; she will go up to you herself. With low medium during the day because she enjoys sleeping however she is active at night. She is unique for her eyes and will do well in a family home with older kids. Mostly kept indoors, she slept anywhere that was comfortable and ate both wet and dry Friskies and Wellness brand mornings and nights. She is litter box trained, uses a hooded box with clumping litter. Briana scratches at furniture weren’t provided a scratching post.
During intake all handling was allowed from counselor, attempted to flee but counselor was able to scan (negative), collar and photograph.
