Profile:
Basic Information: Brandy is a 17 years old neutered male orange tabby domestic short hair cat. He was adopted from the ASPCA when he was just a kitten. His previous owner had to move outside of the state and could not bring him along.
Socialization: He was very friendly around strangers. He spent time with a child of the age of 2 and he was very respectful. He played gently with adults and children. He had a twin brother cat who he outlived. He was also very tolerant of the two dogs that lived with him. He has no known bite history.
Behavior: Brandy meows too much. He meows in car rides and will do fine as long as she is talked to. He truly dislikes bathing. He tolerates his nails trimmed. He enjoys hair brushes and being picked up. He was not bothered when put away in the carrier.
For a New Family to Know: He was described as a very friendly, affectionate, and playful cat. He is also a hunter and will hunt down rodents. His activity is high for his age. The previous owner favorite thing about him was how affectionate he was. Playing was the thing he enjoyed the most. He would follow you around the home and be in the same room as you. His favorite toys were balls, stuffed toys, catnip toys and he also played with some of the dog toys. He was kept mostly indoors. He slept in the bed he grew up in. He is very litter box trained and enjoyed clumping litter the most. He had multiple scratching post one vertical and another one that double as a carpet made of rubber.
Behavior during intake: He was very quiet. He was tolerant to all handling and allowed collaring. His ears were erect and eyes did not dilate.
WEIGHT – 19 lbs.
