And a handsome one at that (always ready for a fun party or a quiet evening in my tuxedo!). I would love to come home with you and add a little more class to your place! Come on! NEW PHOTO – BOSCO was brought into the shelter as a “stray” but he was definitely someones cat since he is neutered and weighs 18.8 lbs. BOSCO is a friendly cat that is in need of a loving home.

Bosco was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on his behavior in his previous home. He allowed the counselor to handle him during intake with no problems.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
Observed Behavior – Came to front of cage when called, allowed to be picked up and handled for exam, attention seeking, head butting.
EVALUATION:
Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Bosco was sitting upright and looking around, calm and relaxed.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Bosco approaches the front and sniffs around.
Reaction to cage door opening: Bosco greets the assessor by the opening.
Reaction to touch: Bosco head-butts lightly and leans in for cheek rubs. He lifts his rear when pet on his lower back and looks around, curious of his surroundings.
Reaction to being picked up: Bosco is a bit tense during pick up (big guy), but remains calm when held.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
VOCAL: Quiet

ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated — difficult to palpate deeply due to size
U/G: Neutered
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, dry, slightly unkempt hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Obese, gingivitis
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC. Rec weight loss plan with placement
Prognosis: Good
