Medical Behavior Evaluation BLUE
Medical Summary 05/17/17 DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: 3 yrs Microchip noted on Intake? No. History : Brought in by owner for temporary hold, no medical problems noted. Subjective: Observed Behavior – Very friendly, social, head butting and rubbing hands with cheeks. Gets a little wiggly when picked up, but allows all handling. Note: Cat was very good for exam which was peformed by DVM with no restraint needed, but when taken out for vaccines and other treatments, became very stressed, hissing, and more difficult to handle. Evidence of Cruelty seen – No. Evidence of Trauma seen – No. Objective: BARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. HR=180, RR=20. BCS=6/9. ORAL: Minimal calculus. EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted. PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: Lungs clear, no murmurs/arrhythmias. No dyspnea. ABD: Non painful, no masses/organomegaly palpated. U/G: Female, unclear if spayed but no palpable OVH scar. Would not allow shaving to look for spay scar. MS: Ambulatory x 4, no lameness. INTEG: Full, clean haircoat, no masses, no fleas. CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities. A: Apparently healthy young adult cat. P: OK for OVH surgery. Monitor while at BACC. Excellent prognosis.
