Behavior toward strangers: Friendly and outgoing
Behavior toward children: Relaxed and affectionate
Behavior toward cats: Unknown
Behavior toward dogs: Spent time around a small dog and was relaxed and affectionate
Bite or Scratch history: None
Litter box training: Yes
Energy level/descriptors: Friendly affectionate and playful
Other notes: He doesnâ€™t mind being picked up, put in a carrier or disturbed while he sleeps. He likes to play with balls and wand toys.
Very vocal, loose, and friendly. Likes attention and petting. Did well for all medical handling.
At front of kennel, making eye contact and vocalizes loudly. Allows petting along head and body while leaning in and raising tail. Doing well!
Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor:
Bilbo meows softly then comes forward and greets the assessor.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Bilbo is relaxed and rubs up against the kennel furnishings.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Bilbo pauses and watches the assessor.
Reaction to touch:
Bilbo inches forward, sniffs the assessor then leans in for attention. He purrs softly, gives head butts when rubbed and allows petting all over.
Reaction to being picked up:
Bilbo was a bit tense when picked up, but remained calm and allowed all handling.
H – Healthy
Bilbo interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

How is this cat around strangers?When around strangers Bilbo is friendly and outgoing. when playing with adults he is gentle.
How is this cat around children?Bilbo has spent time around children and he is relaxed and affectionate. When playing with children he is gentle.
How is this cat around other cats?Bilbo has not spent time in the home with other cats is it is unknown how he will react.
How is this cat around dogs?Bilbo has spent time around a small dog and he was relaxed and affectionate. When playing with the dog he is gentle.
Behavior NotesFinder stated that overall Bilbo behaves well. On his way to the ACC he was quiet. Bilbo has never been bathed, brushed nor had his nails trimmed so it is unknown how he will react.Bilbo enjoys affection and being held. He isnt bothered if he is put in a carrier or disturbed while he sleeps.
Bite history:Bilbo has never bitten an animal or person.

For a New Family to KnowOwner described Bilbo as friendly affectionate and playful. When at home he will follow his owner around. He likes to play with balls and wand toys.He has been kept indoors only and eats dry food. Bilbo is used to an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Bilbo scratches on a post made out of carpet and rough rope.
Behavior Notes:During intake Bilbo was relaxed and affectionate. He allowed the counselor to pick him up, pet, collar and take his photo with no problems.

Oral Exam: moderate dental disease, adult dentition, no oral ulcers noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: MI, 2 testicles descended
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
