***SAFE 05/05/16*** BEAUTIFUL HOUSE PANTHERETTE BIEN IS ONLY A ONE YEAR OLD KITTEN BUT IS PREGNANT!! AND FOR JUST THAT – SHE IS BEING KILLED TONIGHT!! BIEN – which means “good” is a kitten who is healthy but pregnant. Yet this GOOD cat – who came in as a friendly girl, allowing all handling and even enjoying head rubs – is facing DEATH tomorrow at noon for no good reason! BIEN is in her mid – late term pregnancy and needs a kind person to take her in so she can live and possibly have her kittens if the ACC doesn’t subject her first to the cruel spay aborting which they practice. BIEN was a little nervous for the assessor, so rather than look at her past sweet behavior – they punished her with an EXPERIENCE rating and put her on tonight’s list. GIVE BIEN A ONE WAY TICKET OUT OF THE ACC NOW – CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!!

05/02/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bien was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She allowed all handling during her initial medical exam and appeared to like head rubs. Reaction to Assessor: Bien was lying down, low against the ground. Reaction when softly spoken to: Bien looks up and blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Bien remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Bien flinches initially, but remains in place and continues to allow petting on her head and along her back. She closes her eyes, lip licks, and remains immobile. Reaction to being picked up: Bien is a bit tense, but allows handling. Placement Determination: Experience Bien tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
