Vomited pre- and post-exam. Subjective: Alert, friendly Observed Behavior – Purring, allows all handling Objective BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist, BAR EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Very mild mucoid discharge crusted at medial canthus OU PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: Purring, NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, no spay scar palpated MSI: Ambulatory x 4, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Parvo test – negative Assessment: 1. Recent hx diarrhea and vomiting – R/O GI parasites, food change, pancreatitis, toxicity, other Plan: 1. Deworm today as normal 2. Monitor for further diarrhea or vomiting Prognosis: Good SURGERY: Okay for surgery assuming diarrhea/vomiting resolve 1088
