Medical Summary Sex: Male intact Scan: Negative Estimated age: 2-4 years old based on dentition and overall size Fleas: Small amount of flea dirt. S: Alert, watchful, allows all handling but moves to back of cage and curls up there. O: BAR-H, BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Severe gingitivits and gingival recession, moderate tartar. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Tense, no no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Mild scabbing and crusting on the dorsal neck. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: 1. Severe dental cleaning 2. Neck scabbing – sign of fleas Short-term prognosis: Excellent with dental cleaning; fair without. P: 1. Administered 0.7 ml pyrantel PO and Activyl for cats 2-9 lbs during exam 2. Recommend dental cleaning with rads and extractions soon after placement! 1088
