06/15/17 13:18 Basic information: Bella is a 1 year old spayed diluted Calico. Her owner got her from a neighbor as a gift; he needs to surrender Bella and her sister Munchkin because of financial problems and no available time to spend with them. Bella has no health problems or injuries; she has not seen a vet recently. Socialization: Around strangers Bella is friendly/ outgoing; she has spent time with children ages 3 and 9 years old. Around the children she is relaxed, affectionate, and respectful, when playing with adults or children she is gentle. Bella has lived with her sister Munchkin and has spent time with other cats; she is relaxed, and respectful with them. Bella has no living history with a dog, and she has no bite history. Behavior: Bella is housetrained; during car rides she is relaxed. She isn’t bothered when given a bath, having nails trimmed; she enjoys having her coat brushed. Bella isn’t bothered being picked up and held, placed in a carrier, or if disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Bella’s family would describe her as friendly, affectionate and playful. She has a high activity level; her favorite activity is to play chase with her sister in the home. When in the home Bella likes to follow you around, she likes to play with balls and mice toys; Bella is kept indoors only. She eats Purina gentle dry food 3 times a day; her favorite treats are temptations with cat nip. Bella uses a hooded litter box with clumping cat litter; she has a scratch pad made out of carpet material.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet, Affectionate KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors Previously lived with: Adults, children ages 3 and 9 years old, a cat (Munchkin) Behavior toward strangers: friendly/ outgoing Behavior toward children: relaxed, affectionate, and respectful Behavior toward cats: relaxed, and respectful Behavior toward dogs: none Bite or Scratch history: none Litter box training: yes Other notes: describe her as friendly, affectionate and playful. She has a high activity level. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Bella immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Bella remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture with tail up, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Bella head-butts the assessor’s hand, purrs, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Briefly allows then calmly jumps back into the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Bella interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
