11/16/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bella’s former owner best described her as friendly, affectionate and independent. She also lived with another cat that she got along very well with. Reaction to assessor: Bella looks neutral, lying down on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bella stands with tail up, relaxed body posture, chirping attention. Reaction to touch: Bella head-butts the assessor’s hand, but after the touch she randomly hisses while she continues to solicit attention. Placement determination: Experience / no child Bella is social and affectionate but appears to be easily overstimulated. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Bella becomes overstimulated. We also recommend fishing pole-type toys for play as they allow for interaction and vigorous, stimulating exercise while keeping human hands at a distance.
